Fireworks in the Winter Night Sky

Kawaguchiko Winter Fireworks light up the clear winter night sky with Mt. Fuji covered in snow as a stunning backdrop. After the show, relaxing in a nearby hot spring is highly recommended.

Dates & Time

The event will be held from January 24 to February 23, 2026, on Saturdays, Sundays, and February 23 (11 nights in total). Fireworks are scheduled from 8:00 PM to 8:20 PM.

HAOSTAY Kawaguchiko Rooftop Observatory

Even without visiting the main venue, guests can enjoy the winter fireworks from the rooftop observatory at HAOSTAY Kawaguchiko. Relax in a quiet setting while watching the fireworks light up the winter night sky alongside Mt. Fuji.

Viewing areas

Fireworks will be launched from Oike Park (main venue), Tatami-iwa, and Yagisaki Park. The event may be canceled if a forest fire warning is issued.

What to Enjoy at the Venue

Food trucks will be available at Oike Park on each event night, offering a variety of warm meals and drinks. Admission and viewing are free, and free parking is available.

Access

By car, the venue is accessible from Kawaguchiko IC on the Chuo Expressway. Public transportation options include the Kawaguchiko Sightseeing Bus (Red Line) and the Fujisanroku Railway.
